A palm-sized 20,000mAh LiFePO4 mini DC UPS for router, modem, PoE camera and POS — 0 ms switchover keeps networks online through any outage.

The POE-830P-LFP is a LiFePO4 (LFP) mini DC UPS from ulinkeep, built with a real PoE port to keep routers, modems, PoE cameras and POS terminals powered when the mains drops. The moment power is lost or the voltage starts to sag, it takes over in 0 ms, so connected devices stay up instead of rebooting.

Mini DC UPS for Router — Features & Appearance

The POE-830P-LFP is a LiFePO4 (LFP) mini DC UPS with a built-in PoE port from ulinkeep. The instant the mains cuts out or the voltage dips, it takes over in 0 ms, keeping routers, modems, PoE cameras and POS terminals running without a reboot.

The housing lies flat and low-profile, with keyhole slots on the back if you would rather hang it. At 206 × 120 × 35 mm and 0.64 kg net it fits in a weak-current cabinet, on a desk, beside the router or on the wall — black or white, whichever suits the site.

Everything runs in one row along the front: PoE 24V, a RESET key, a USB 5V port, a Type-C port, a 9V/12V output selector and a 100–240Vac input. A strip of LED indicators on top — 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% — shows the remaining charge at a glance.

Specifications: What Is Inside a 20,000mAh Mini DC UPS

The POE-830P-LFP runs a LiFePO4 cell pack — four 5,000mAh cells, 20,000mAh in total, rated at 64Wh. LFP gives you a longer cycle life and better thermal stability than an ordinary NMC lithium pack, which is exactly what a unit that stays on the mains all day and charges and discharges constantly needs.

Outputs run to a 24V PoE port, a DC port that switches between 9V and 12V, a USB-A port at 5V/1A and a Type-C port. Several devices can share the load, as long as the total stays under 18W. Input is a wide 100–240VAC, so one SKU covers any grid. Switchover is 0 ms, short-circuit protection is built in, and every unit carries a one-year warranty.

A single unit ships in a carton of about 35 × 25 × 10 cm at 1.5 kg gross — sized for bulk shipments and cross-border e-commerce rather than retail shelves.

64Wh is roughly 8 to 10 hours on a single router. Add a modem, a switch and a camera and the runtime comes down — work it out from the real wattage you are pulling, not from the label.

Customization Cases & Craftsmanship

The POE-830P-LFP has been on the market for three to four years, and most of what we know about building this hardware came from customers who pushed us to change something.

Case one, a networking distributor in Latin America. They wanted to bundle the unit with routers sold under their own brand. At PCBA stage we built independent sampling protection into the 24V PoE output loop to match their powered-device spec. Every LFP cell is resistance-matched, then aged and screened for 48 hours before it goes into the housing. The enclosure is injection-moulded in a matte finish, the corners are formed as one continuous radius, and seams are held to within 0.1 mm. Front-panel port markings are printed in register with the customer's artwork, and before mass production each unit is fixture-tested for continuity and switchover time.

Case two, a customer serving the Middle East telecom market. They needed a 12V-output UPS built specifically for routers. Custom colour box, multi-language manual and DC cable length were all sampled in one round. The sample went through charge-discharge cycling plus high and low temperature testing before it was signed off as the golden sample, and their repeat order is produced straight from that golden sample.

B2B Application Scenarios

We sell into five situations over and over. If one of them sounds like your customer, the POE-830P-LFP is probably the right box.

  • Small and mid-size office networks. One unit in the low-voltage cabinet backs up the main router, the modem and the IP phones. A breaker that trips over lunch break does not cut an online meeting.
  • Chain retail POS. At the checkout, one output feeds the router and another feeds the PoE payment terminal — a mini DC UPS for router and payment hardware in a single box. When the shopping district loses power, receipts keep printing and the POS stays online.
  • Security and surveillance. Paired with PoE cameras and NVR backup units, recording and motion detection keep running through grid maintenance — no blind spots during the hours that matter.
  • Smart community access control. 12V door controllers and video intercoms connect directly. During a property-wide outage residents still get in by face or card.
  • Hotels and serviced apartments. A room router dies with the power and the room goes offline. This palm-sized unit goes in a bedside cabinet or the network box, and guest complaints drop noticeably.

Factory Customization Capability

The factory runs OEM and ODM, and our response times are committed to international-site standards: custom colour box artwork in 3 days, custom samples delivered in 7 days, plus free spare-part replacement and online technical support for as long as we work together. There are four levels of customization — pick the one that matches your budget and your brand.

Customization Options
Minor customization swap the logo silkscreen or laser engraving, change the front-panel print. Fastest to land.
Drawing-based customization send us your mechanical or electrical drawings and we build the sample to them.
Sample-based customization send us a reference unit and we reverse-engineer it, then improve on it.
Full customization a complete unit developed from enclosure tooling through battery configuration to the output scheme.

Packaging customization and logo or graphic design both start at 1,000 sets — a good fit for private-label traders, system integrators and overseas channel partners who intend to stay for the long run. Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Which devices can the POE-830P-LFP power?

The PoE port powers PoE cameras. The DC port switches between 9V and 12V for routers, modems and access controllers. The USB and Type-C ports handle phones and tablets — the usual small devices around an office network.

Q2. Will devices reboot when the power goes out?

No. Switchover takes 0 ms, far below the point where a device drops and restarts, so connected routers and cameras stay online. That is the whole point of a mini DC UPS for router hardware.

Q3. Why LiFePO4 cells instead of ordinary lithium?

LFP has a longer cycle life and better thermal stability, which suits something that stays plugged in and charges and discharges frequently. Capacity fade stays predictable.

Q4. How long will it run on a full charge?

The 64Wh pack runs a single router for about 8 to 10 hours. With several devices loaded, work it out from the actual wattage — the heavier the load, the shorter the runtime.

Q5. Can it be used overseas? Is the input voltage wide enough?

Input is 100–240VAC, so it works on grids worldwide. Add the mains cable for the destination country and it is ready.

Q6. What are the lead times and MOQ for customization?

Colour box design in 3 days, samples in 7 days. Packaging and logo customization start at 1,000 sets.

Q7. What is in the box?

The POE-830P-LFP unit, a user manual, a DC cable, a mains cable and the packaging.

Q8. What does the warranty cover?

One year on the whole unit. Board-level faults are replaced free of charge inside the warranty period.
